Short lets are the ideal way to make use of an empty property. Here´s why:
You don´t have to offer your tenant a long contract. Short lets last from one to a maximum of six months, so if you want to move back in at the end of that time, or do something else with your property, you are free to do so.
You´re more protected against robbery – a significant risk if you leave your property empty.

Short Lets in London Within a period of one to six months, short lets provide the freedom and comfort of your own home in central London, without the restrictions of a long rental contract. They can also save considerably on hotel bills: often up to 40%.
Is it for me? If you´re looking for a comfortable place to call your own but don´t want to sign a long contract, short letting is what you want. It´s also great for companies who want to provide accommodation for a succession of tenants throughout the rental period.
Is it expensive? Expect to pay from £300 to £8,000 a week depending on the property. All utilities except phone bills are included. You will also have to a put down a deposit of one month´s rent.
In which areas can I find short lets? Short lets can be found throughout central London. In the past, short lets were available only in some areas of London, but the market is rapidly expanding to cover the whole of London.
What´s involved?Short lets take a bit of setting up. Your property must be fully furnished and equipped to a high standard, with crockery, kitchenware, linen and so on
