About the Development

The property is near Porto in north Portugal. It is within 20 minutes of central Porto and about the same distance from Porto International Airport. Both can be accessed by using the high speed local autostradas which are about 5/6 minutes from the Quinta or by rail; the nearest railway station to Porto is about 5 minutes by car.

The location is ideal for regular visitors to Porto who would like an out of town “hotel” in preference to a typical hotel in town – particularly during the hot summer months when temperatures get up to 40 plus.

The property consists of 30,000 m² of land, a large old stone house with habitable housekeeper’s house of two bedrooms, kitchen and sitting room and a separate large traditional kitchen, two large stone buildings which have been completely restored and currently contain 5 x T1 apartments all fully furnished and with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms.

There are also two large stone outbuildings which would make superb (commercial or residential) accommodation if restored.

There is a large area for parking and good access.

The buildings containing the 5 apartments could also be easily converted to traditional residential use; either two modest or one large residence. The two large apartments are about 50 m² each and the smaller ones about 35 m² each.

There are three sources of water: mains, mina (mine) and well (poço).

The Quinta is an historic property in the area and once it was the centre of local agriculture. It is an outstandingly private, quiet and peaceful place but with excellent access to all facilities.
