Average temperatures in Tunisia from May to October are between 19°C to 26°C. During the peak summer times it can get quite hot in the southern Tunisia so it would be advisable to make short excursion trips during this time. Winters in Tunisia are mild and pleasant. There are few rainfalls during the winter season while the summers in Tunisia experience little or no rainfall. The mountain areas of Tunisia receive the most rainfall. The annual rainfall in Tunisia has been recorded to be around 1,520 mm.

From the Mediterranean to the Sahara the climate conditions in Tunisia vary according to different regions. Due to the proximity to the Sahara desert the southern areas are hottest while mountain regions have a cooler weather. The beaches have the best climatic condition in Tunisia where it’s warm and sunny with welcome sea breezes that form the perfect setting for lazy summer days or to enjoy the water sports.
