Romania » Outlook International Property Brokers forecast that Real GDP growth in 2006 will be 5.3% and 5.6% in 2007.
Dealings between the two senior government parties, the National Liberal Party (NLP) and the Democratic Party (DP), persist to get worse and only the need to secure Romania's EU accession in January 2007 is preventing a collapse of the partnership. Assuming that Romania joins the EU in January 2007, The National Bank of Romania (NBR, the central bank) has tightened monetary policy, but the government's fiscal and wage policies are unsatisfactorily stretched.
