Rome, Italy's capital is also called the ‘Eternal City’. The ancient city stands witness to many historical incidents. The Alps are the perfect place to ski in the winters and to climb in the summer months. There are bus and train routes that can get you through the mountains. The perfect way to enter the area would be through the cable car connection from Chamonix.
