Relations with the United Kingdom

France is politically strong country in the Europe. France has this status due to her bigger size, balanced France foreign policy, excellent strategic location, booming economy, well equipped military and well liked diplomacy. France has substantial political influence in the Europe region. France international policies remains indulge in joining almost all the countries of the Europe in the form of European Union.

France statesmanship has strong advocacy for collective defence of all the regions of Europe. France is a charter member of United Nation and owns a permanent seat in the security council of United Nation. On the other hand, France international agreements always play key role in shaping the world politics.    

France has a strong urge to limit the authority of two super powers and to increase her influence in world politics. France international politics usually circled this issue.  France relationships remained tense with United Kingdom. France apposed many top priority decisions pointed out by United Kingdom. France has stronger ties with Germany. These two countries played their part in the formation of European Security and Defence Identity (ESDI). The reason behind these efforts is to strengthen the security around the European Union. Spain and Germany work closely with France. 

The extent of France relations with international community is varying country by country. France has good relations with Egypt. Their relations started when Egypt was semi-independent. France relations with Muslim states of Middle East are not so strong. The main hindrance between good relationships is the more than good relations of France with Israel. State of Israel is not well liked within Muslim states of Middle East. France is taking keen interest in making positive outlook in France international affairs or France world affairs by producing economic and social ties with almost all the countries of the world.     

In general, France trade policy usually has strong influence of European trade policies and agreements. The economy of the country depends upon the France international trade with most of the European and non European countries. France relay on the imported good and to balance the trade export many agricultural and manufacturing goods. Powerful economy also helps in defining international relations of France in relations with France world politics in global prospective.
