The Caribbean islands build up a vast subcomponent of the hundreds of islands in the Caribbean Sea, forming a wide curve between Florida in the north and Venezuela in the south, and a wall between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic. The three major environmental formations found all through the Caribbean are metamorphic rocks, sandstone hills, and coastal. Sedimentary plains of unreliable depths resulting in three extensive types of geography, found either independently or in combination.
