International Property Brokers forecasts that the economic growth drive is expected to slow in 2008, before making a modest recovery in 2009. We project a 3.7% growth in 2008, and expect it to be unchanged in 2009.

The budget deficit is estimated to be around 1.8% for the fiscal year 2007-08. The government aims to eliminate the fiscal deficit by 2012-13, with support from increased revenues.
