Ho Chi Minh or Saigon as still known is the essence of the Vietnam and it is largest city of the country. Its importance lies in the fact that, it is a dynamic industrial centre.  It is the economic capital and cultural innovator. The city has its attraction in its everlasting culture and ancient traditions. It has a growing population of around 7 million.

Ho Chi Minh is the city that is busy 24 hours a day and its residents always seems full of activities in buying selling, studying, eating, working and enjoying. The law pertaining to foreign ownership of property in Ho Chi Min city is currently under assessment by the country’s government.  Although the foreigners are still not allowed to own property in Ho Chi Minh City but  real estate investors are buying the Ho Chi Minh City property in the hope that they will get double price of it when foreigners will have right to own the property. 

The streets of the city are full of every colour of life as there are clutters of street markets, shops, roadway cafes, stand on wheels and vendors selling goods. Another appealing thing in the city is the number of publishing houses, number of book stores and prevalent network of public and school libraries.

Although there has been renovations in the city on massive scale, making it a modern metropolitan city but still there are some signs of French colonial architecture such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office and the former Hotel de Ville.
