United Kingdom » Introduction of Harrow

HarrowHarrow is one of the administrative divisions of London city and is bordered by Hillingdon to the west, Ealing to the south, Brent to the south-east and Barnet to the east. Harrow is generally known for Harrow School where Winston Churchill and Indian Prime Minister Nehru went to. The local colleges include Harrow College's two campuses, Stanmore College and St. Dominic's Sixth Form College. It has a huge campus for the University of Westminster near Northwick Park Hospital; even though both these landmarks actually dwell in the London Borough of Brent.
Harrow has riches of history for you to escape and discover. Rich cultural heritage and a substantial legacy of people and events characterize the today. One of the historical monuments of that city is 900 year old St Mary's Church on The Hill.

Harrow Introduction

It also features a pretty large shopping arena in the town centre. The main shopping district is located near Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station and Harrow Bus Station, and has two small shopping centers. The St. Ann's Shopping Centre, opened by Princess Diana is the older of the two and contains an extensive food court. St. George's opened by Catherine Zeta Jones is a smaller mall, but features a gym and a 9-screen vue cinema. Complimenting the shopping centers are a number of high street shops and a large Debenhams department store.
