Harrow has in store a wide variety of leisure and sports options. The St George's complex encompasses a nine-screen cinema multiplex and 'The Edge,' an Internet-based family entertainment centre which is the first of its sort in Britain.

The recently revamped Harrow Leisure Centre offers an extensive range of facilities including two swimming pools, squash and badminton courts, fitness suite and three multi-purpose sports halls.  Dance and keeping fit studios are also available, together with a children's play area. The Roger Bannister Sports Centre, situated close to Harrow in the Uxbridge Road, accommodates track and field events as well as a variety of outdoor sports. It even has golf courses to offer to the Golf lovers. Golf players can choose between three 18-hole golf courses located a short distance from the town or a pitch and putt course situated in Kenton Road.

It offers great interest for the football and rugby fans, constituting the famous and large Wembley Stadium. The Wembley Stadium is the most spectacular football stadium in the world, built to the highest specifications using the latest technology.Those looking for leisurely pursuits, Harrow features various green areas. The town itself is complemented by major parklands and areas of natural beauty. Two popular maintained walks consist of; Stanmore Country Park and the open spaces of both Stanmore and Harrow Weald Commons.

 
The Borough’s Arts Centre presents the the town's cultural focus, located a short distance from Harrow in Hatch End. It has a lot of programmes of events and activities in store to offer with facilities including the Elliott Hall for plays, concerts and conferences and the small Travellers Studio, which serves as an additional venue for performances and exhibitions. The annual Harrow Arts Festival features festivities which bring about an enormous range of different cultural arts. A famous local event of Harrow is the Pinner Fair, which has been taking place in the village for over 600 years.

Night Life

Central Harrow offers a range of pubs, many of them being chain pubs. In central Harrow, the pubs tend toward cheesy disco, and almost every one features sport, loud music and youngsters on the pull.

In other parts and neighbourhoods of Harrow more dignified range of pubs and clubs are located, often appealing the older crowd. There is usually a Weatherspoons bar in every area, and also, at least one Irish pub.

The Queen’s Head is a favourite place to be offered for the beer drinkers, located in the Pinner. If in search of late night entertainment the Trinity Bar is the place that stays open the latest in central Harrow. It has decent beer and a crowd that is laid-back and verging on early middle age.
