Abu Dhabi is also the seat of the country's political power, all federal level decisions are taken in the city and it's the home of the nation's President and National Council. Even though Abu Dhabi is the financial and political centre, it's completely outshone by neighbouring Dubai when it comes to nightlife, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Abu Dhabi is also famous for its 18 large and well-maintained gardens, the pick of which are the Capital Gardens and Khalidia Children's Garden.

Abu Dhabi is one of the most modern cities in the world. It is the center of government and business life in the UAE; headquarters of the emirates oil operating companies and embassies are based here. The architecture of its modern buildings and skyscrapers is the finest in the Middle East. This newfound success of the city is clearly reflected in its modern communications, shopping complexes, and recently developed tourist attractions.

While Abu Dhabi is a lively and fascinating city with an inspiring skyline, parks, gardens, luxury hotels, palatial villas, mansions, wide boulevards and beaches.
