Slovakia On the banks of the river Danube is situated the second largest city of Slovakia. After the Velvet revolution in 1993, the Czech and Slovak separated and an independent Slovak Republic was born, with Bratislava as the capital city. Bratislava has a very rich and long history. Traces have been found of this place being inhabited as early as the Stone Age.

The strategic location of Bratislava and the economic conditions places Bratislava to be among the most promising region in Europe.  It is the cultural hub of Slovakia and also the center of politics.
