Kuala Lumpur is the largest and capital city of Malaysia. City of Kuala Lumpur is recognised due to its presence in a huge valley. The name of that valley is Klang Valley. At first, Kuala Lumpur was the state capital of Selangor. In 1974, Kuala Lumpur came under federal territory.

Parliament of Malaysia is also found in the city of Kuala Lumpur. This city is a political hub of the country due to the presence of the Istana Negara which is the official residence of the king.
