Goa could be reached through variety of transports which includes by air, by train and by road. The approximate flight time from UK to Mumbai is 9-10 hours.

By Air

There are two ways to access Goa by air. You could either take a connecting flight to one of major Indian cities to Goa or you could get a direct chartered flight to Dabolim airport of Goa. Dabolim airport is the one and only airport of this state and it is situated at a drive of 30KM from Panjim, the capital of Goa. These direct chartered flights are offered only during the tourism season i.e. the winter season or Christmas holidays.

Dabolim airport connects Goa with a variety of international destinations such as UK, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Germany and Russia. Various Indian and international airlines such as Air India, Indian Airlines, Air Deccan, Kingfisher Airlines, Go Air, Spice Jet and Jet Airways provides services in the Dabolim airport.

By Train

Getting to Goa by train is an economical option. Goa is located in the middle of Mumbai and Trivandum (Kerala). Konkan Railways is one of the most important train stations of Goa and it starts at Mumbai and ends at State of Kerala. Through the train network Goa is connected with Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Mangalore and Ahmedabad.

• Maragao (Konkan Railway Station); It connects Goa with Mumbai and Kerala.
• Vasco-de-Gama (South Central Railways); the train for South Central Railways, leaves everyday from Delhi, early in the morning. The train is named as Nizamuddin- Goa Express.
