Shopping areas are roughly divided into Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Shopping in Hong Kong City

Millennium City 5

It is the largest mall in the district, and caters for the habits of the community in which it is located by having extending opening hours. Retail shops close at 12 midnight, and restaurants close at 2am. There are also shops that operate 24 hours. Plaza Hollywood is one of the largest shopping malls in the Diamond Hill area, New Kowloon, Hong Kong. The plaza is accessible directly from Diamond Hill MTR station at exit C2, or by bus, GMB or taxi. There are over 400 car park spaces reserved for private car drivers.

Times Square

Times Square is a shopping centre and office tower complex in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The shopping centre is popular among teenagers, and also features a movie theatre. The area surrounding the building is a popular venue for New Year countdowns, copying Times Square in New York City. At every New Year's Eve, many people crowd in the building, preparing for the countdown. The complex was opened in April 1994, and is owned by Wharf Properties Limited, part of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited group. The site was previously occupied by the original tram depot of the Hong Kong Tramways, another of the Wharf's subsidiary operations.
