By Air

The Republic of Cyprus has two International Airports: Paphos and Lanarca. Paphos, a 23- mile drive from Polis, is the most convenient. More flights go to Larnarca but it is a 111- mile drive.

By Sea

Shipping lines do not use the port of Larnaca apart from occasional cruise-boat. Larnaca can be reached by private yachts and a water-taxi from Aya napa. The crossing takes an hour.

By Bus

The only highway on Cyprus joins Nicosia with Limassol, about 50 miles south-westwards. The KEMEK bus company runs an hourly bus service between Nicosia and Limassol. Nicosia Terminal is on Dionysus Solomos Square. Troodos is connected with Nicosia by two daily buses: KEMEK and Solea bus. Another Solea bus runs several times a day between Nicosia and Kakopetria. There are also buses between Nicosia and Agia Napa.
