Contrary to what we might think Tirana is a great shopping destination. Shopping in Tirana has a great appeal for the locals as well as for the tourists and especially for the ladies it is a favourite thing to do. The prices in boutiques of Tirana are very low as compared to the shops in Western Europe, sometimes the difference is so huge it may surprise you.

Best place in Tirana to shop is the city centre. The city center is small and one can easily walk everywhere. The staff is also known to be friendly and competent. Shoe shopping in Tirana is very popular as they are very cheap and around 30% less than in other European cities. Mostly shoes are of high standard, Italian quality and there is a lot of variety to choose from. The popular areas for shopping are the Bllok district and along Rruga Myslym Shyri. Here you will find many boutiques with most fashionable clothes and it is here that you can have attractive bargains for the goods.

The retail revolution of Tirana started with the QTU Centre, which opened in 2005. It was a new experience. The complex is huge, with an attractive supermarket, underground parking and free shuttle bus service. was a new experience. There is also a Conad supermarket  for groceries and household necessities.
Sheraton Plaza
The Sheraton Hotel has a mall attached to it. You can sit at the café, or go to any Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants, shop for your supplies at the supermarket, or designer labels.
Smart Shopping
It has  expensive and branded retail outlets. The Illy Café is a nice place to relax.
